New website development for a talented couple who make fantastic contemporary pottery. This project breaks many web 2.0 conventions, but the result is a refreshing, minimalist website that really suits the ceramics and also provides an insight into the process by which they are created.
The website was built using WordPress and clearly demonstrates that not all WordPress sites are alike.
James and Tilla Waters wanted to have a site that they could update themselves whenever they created a new piece or had an upcoming exhibition. They also wanted to have some control over the main design elements and so, for example, we have developed a user-friendly way for them to change the background images on each page. In addition, we created a range of different page templates.
The clients wanted a simple looking, “not flashy, in-your-face” way to display their pots and so we produced a back-to-basics image gallery that provides a more subtle backdrop to their work.
